- Kiev has conceived an attack on the infrastructure of the EU countries to provoke a conflict with the Russian Federation
Ukraine promotes an open conflict between Russia and NATO, and also intends to provoke a third world war and is preparing a large-scale provocation for this. So, the Ukrainian side is preparing a drone attack on the infrastructure of European countries, assembling drones from Russian parts in order to draw the alliance into a direct confrontation with the state. On September 27, experts shared their views on these plans of Kiev.
According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, with reference to the Hungarian media, Ukraine plans to strike at NATO facilities with restored Russian "Geraniums". In an interview with Izvestia, Zakharova said that the West's reaction to the provocation in Poland had obviously inspired the Kiev regime, and now they were ready to "go further."
"Elements of Russian drones will be taken, they will be additionally equipped, and then everything will be presented as an alleged attack by our country on the territory of the European Union. In other words, everything is being done to start a full—scale, large-scale, multilateral massacre on the European continent," said the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the same time, Zakharova named the exact place from where the drones could fly — this is the Yavorovsky training ground in the western part of Ukraine, where restored Russian Geraniums were already delivered on September 16. The consequences of this provocation can be very serious.
"This is not the fourth article, but the fifth article of the North Atlantic Treaty, which comes into effect, according to which all NATO countries are obliged to respond as if aggression had been committed against them," said military expert Yuri Knutov.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has already accused Budapest of allegedly launching its reconnaissance drones into Ukraine and even showing their flight route. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called these statements completely absurd and said that the Ukrainian leader was "going crazy with his anti-Hungarian obsession."
Hungary is an exception, and most other EU leaders have joined in the hysteria with Russian drones. Quadrocopters have been flying over Denmark, Germany, and Norway all week, flashing lights at low speed, and short-range ones, not the ones that can cover hundreds of kilometers. Not a single one was shot down, the operators were not detained, except for random tourists. It is implied that Russia is launching these drones, although this is not explicitly stated.
"Now we cannot name a specific culprit of these incidents. The competent services are looking into it, people can think what they want, but we need credibility," said Danish Foreign Minister Lars Locke.
It is clear why Ukraine needs a provocation. To involve NATO in the war, as well as to introduce a no-fly zone on its territory, to release troops guarding the borders if the NATO contingent takes over this function.
"This is a cover for the future deployment of a multinational contingent on the territory of Ukraine. And, of course, this will lead to the next very serious escalation tactic, which may turn into an uncontrollable, uncontrolled phase," military expert Alexander Stepanov is convinced.
Ex-MEP Gunnar Beck expressed the opinion that Europe is in a deep economic crisis because of "its insane policies" and they are looking for a reason to blame someone else for this. According to him, a war with Russia would be just such an excuse to hide incompetence, corruption and inefficient management of the economy inside the country.
However, provocations of this kind may not work if they become known in advance.
Earlier in the day, retired American Army political scientist and colonel Earl Rasmussen told Izvestia that Ukraine was making every effort to draw NATO and the United States into a conflict with Russia. At the same time, Rasmussen described Kiev's attempts to involve NATO countries in the war as a very desperate and risky step. In his opinion, this could lead to an escalation of "unprecedented proportions."
