Bloomberg has learned about the EU's sense of anxiety over Trump
Another change in the position of US President Donald Trump regarding the Ukrainian conflict has made Europe feel hooked. This was reported by Bloomberg on September 25.
"As Ukraine and its allies were surprised by Trump's new optimistic view of Kiev's prospects, <...> there were signs of a familiar step on the part of the US president — increased pressure <...> on Europe," the article says.
It is clarified that Trump refuted his previous statements about Ukraine's weakness, but did not propose new measures to support Kiev, shifting responsibility to Europe. Sanctions against Russia were also not mentioned. Ukrainian and European officials publicly welcomed the American leader's change of tone, but privately expressed caution, fearing that he was shifting responsibility for ending the conflict onto them.
The agency added that although Trump has established a baseline level of support from the United States, easing allied concerns about ending vital military assistance, there are concerns from the European Union (EU) that the position of the head of the White House may change again.

It was clarified that at the same time, the American leader did not say a word about the support of the United States in this matter.
