As a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) injured nine people. This was announced on the evening of September 22 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.
According to him, five people were injured in the attack in the Leninsky district of Donetsk, including a girl born in 2022.
"In the Central City district of Gorlovka, employees of the Gorlovka city district administration, a woman born in 1959 and a man born in 1986, were injured due to a kamikaze UAV attack," Pushilin said in a Telegram message.
In addition, the head of the DPR added that one person was moderately injured in the village of Luganskoye as a result of the dumping of an explosive device. He clarified that all the victims are receiving medical care.
The head of the DPR also said that as a result of the incident in Gorlovka, nine residential buildings, a school, a post office, a boiler room, and an administration building in the Central City district of the city were damaged, and in the Leninsky district of Donetsk, damage was recorded at a gas station.
The consequences of the attack on the gas station were shown by Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Bykovsky. The footage shows broken glass, burnt-out iron structures and collapsed trees.
"They did a screed on the roof. I didn't understand where it came from (the drone. — Ed.) He took it. He hit us right," said a man injured in the incident.
Earlier, on September 22, Izvestia published footage of an AFU UAV strike on the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, added that two people were injured in the incident.
