In Tatarstan, FSB officers detained Nikolai Byzin, deputy head of the Zelenodolsk district, on suspicion of receiving a particularly large bribe. This was reported on September 17 in the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for Tatarstan.

According to the agency, Berezin received a particularly large bribe in the form of ownership of four land plots "for assistance in transferring roads in the region from private to municipal ownership," TASS clarified.

It is noted that a criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe").

On September 15, it was reported that the mayor of Krasnoyarsk Vladislav Loginov, accused of taking bribes in the amount of 180 million rubles, submitted his resignation. According to investigators, in the period from 2018 to 2024, he received more than 180 million rubles from the CEO of a commercial organization, including in the form of payment for the construction of a bathhouse on his site.
