An advertisement for the Intervision contest was placed in Times Square

An advertisement for the international music competition "Intervision" was shown on a street screen in Times Square in New York. This was reported on September 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The final of Intervision will be held in Moscow on September 20 at the Live Arena. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov) is participating from Russia with Maxim Fadeev's song "Straight to the Heart". Alexander Ovechkin, a Russian hockey player and captain of the Washington Capitals NHL club, has been announced as the cultural ambassador of Intervision 2025.

The hosts of the final of the competition will be performer Alexey Vorobyov and Honored Artist of Russia Aida Garifullina. Yana Churikova, a journalist and TV presenter, and Yuri Aksyuta, the chief producer of Channel One's music and entertainment programs, will comment on Intervision for Russian viewers.

The winner of the Intervision International Music Competition will receive a cash prize of 30 million rubles.

At the plenary session of the XI St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures on September 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the importance of the international music competition "Intervision" for the development of creativity. The Head of State also expressed gratitude to like-minded people who supported the idea of resuming the international music competition. In particular, Putin wished successful performances to all the contestants.

On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the contest a universal platform for dialogue between world civilizations. He also stressed that Intervision is not only a musical competition, but also an important international event. According to him, the participation of 23 countries in the competition allows us to demonstrate global diversity through music as a universal international language.
