The NYT reported on Russia's revolution in the field of drone production
Russia has made the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) a top priority and has revolutionized this field. This was reported on September 14 by The New York Times (NYT).
It is noted that the analysts of the publication came to this conclusion after analyzing the number of strikes by Russian drones on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in different months of the special military operation (SVO).
"Behind these staggering figures is a revolution in the production of drones in Russia," the article says.
The publication also noted that the sharp increase in the production of UAVs, combined with new technologies and tactics, creates enormous difficulties for Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 12 that thanks to drone operators, up to half of the Armed Forces' equipment is affected. The Russian army has accumulated good experience in the field of drones, and the effectiveness of their use is constantly growing, he added.
