The Israeli army claimed to have hit more than 500 targets in Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has attacked more than 500 targets in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the week. This was announced on September 12 by the IDF press service.
"During the strikes, the IDF eliminated observation posts and sniper positions, structures containing mine tunnels, weapons depots and other terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hamas," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.
The press service added that the IDF has completed five waves of strikes on Gaza City. The Israeli Army said that before the strikes, the military took measures to minimize the risk of harm to the civilian population in Gaza.
Earlier, on September 8, the IDF attacked the fourth high-rise building in Gaza, which the Palestinian Hamas movement used as an observation post. It is reported that the strike was carried out using precision-guided munitions and aerial surveillance.
