Lavrov did not rule out destabilization in the Middle East after the Israeli strikes on Doha

The Israeli strike on Doha was carried out in the area where the road used by Russian diplomats is located. This was announced on September 11 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"The target of the attack is a building that was destroyed, located in the Doha quarter, which houses about 10 embassies of foreign countries, and next to which runs a road that is regularly used by employees of our embassy in Qatar," he said.

The minister stressed that the Israeli strike on Doha had put the lives of civilians and diplomats at risk. This incident not only creates geopolitical consequences, but can also seriously affect the further development of dialogue to resolve the situation, including hostage issues and hostilities, Lavrov said.

The Russian Foreign Minister added that the Russian side, together with the United States, is discussing a Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
