The Swedish Ministry of Defense intends to immediately send its aircraft and air defense systems to Poland. This was announced on September 10 by Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, citing the head of the Swedish Defense Ministry, Paul Junson.

"I have just received information from the Swedish Defense Minister about the urgent dispatch of additional assistance to Poland, including air defense equipment and aircraft," he said on the Polish TV channel TVN24.

Kosinyak-Kamysh, as specified, did not disclose information about which models of the armed forces and air defense will be delivered to his state.

The Onet portal a day earlier announced the closure of four airports in Poland, located in Warsaw, Rzeszow and Lublin, due to alleged violations of the country's airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This information was later confirmed by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. On the same day, President of the Republic Karol Navrotsky discussed the incident with US President Donald Trump.

The operational command of the Polish Armed Forces (AF) said that the soldiers managed to eliminate several drones that were allegedly involved in an "act of aggression." A spokeswoman for the Polish Interior Ministry, Karolina Galetska, clarified that a total of 12 drones were shot down.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
