By the end of August 2025, three Toyota models turned out to be the best-selling in Russia among cars from car brands that have stopped doing business in the country. This follows from the statistics published by Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, in his Telegram channel.

So, the bestseller in this segment was the Toyota Highlander crossover, which sold 864 copies in August. The Toyota RAV4 is in second place with a slight gap (858 units), and the Toyota Camry is in third place (587 units).

Next are the Mazda CX-5, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson and BMW X3. The top ten was rounded out by the Skoda Kodiaq, Lexus RX and Volkswagen Tiguan.

A similar model rating for the period from January to August 2025 is headed by the Toyota RAV4 (3,848 units).

On September 9, it was reported that the Belarusian—made Belgee X50 crossover became the best-selling new car in Moscow by the end of August, pushing the former capital's leader, Geely Monjaro, into second place. Yesterday it became known that for the first time in history, the X50 topped the sales ranking in the segment of foreign cars on the Russian car market.
