Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bagai called Israel's attack on Qatar extremely dangerous and in violation of the UN Charter. This was reported by the IRNA news agency on September 9.

"From the point of view of international law, all norms <...>..> have been violated. This is a very dangerous act and a violation of the principles, purposes and norms of the Charter of the United Nations," Bagai said.

He also noted that such actions by the Israeli regime are crimes, as they violate all international norms and rules. Iran considers this attack as a violation of Qatar's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Bagai also called on the entire international community to pay attention to the danger of inaction and indifference to the aggression of the Israeli regime.

On September 9, it was reported that a Hamas negotiating delegation was attacked by Israel in the Qatari capital of Doha. The attack occurred as the negotiating team was discussing a U.S.-proposed cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. As a result of the attack, the head of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Haya, and three other members of the movement's leadership were killed.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned Israeli strikes on a number of targets in the Syrian provinces of Homs and Latakia. The Ministry described the attacks as a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty, a clear violation of international law and a serious threat to regional security.

On September 7, US President Donald Trump called on the Hamas movement to accept American conditions for a peace deal in Gaza. He noted that this is the last warning for the Palestinians. On the same day, Hamas agreed to hold talks on the release of the held hostages in exchange for a cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
