Demand for carsharing for businesses increased by 53% in Russia

In the first six months of 2025, the number of companies using rental cars for work tasks increased by 53%. The dedicated fleet is particularly popular: the number of corporate clients in the long-term rental segment has almost doubled. Analysts of the Delimobil operator told Izvestia about this on September 9.

The overall activity of the business audience is also increasing. From January to June 2025, the total duration of corporate trips reached 60 million minutes, which is 52% more than in the same period last year. The top most popular business models include Kia Rio (for business trips around the city), Ford Transit and Atlant Sollers (for cargo transportation), as well as Geely Coolray and Haval Jolion crossovers.

Most often, B2B carsharing is chosen by companies and entrepreneurs working in the fields of construction, delivery, logistics, sales, and banking. The main scenarios for using cars are trips to business meetings and facilities, as well as cargo transportation, experts said.

"Businesses are increasingly considering carsharing as an effective alternative to their own fleet. Entrepreneurs choose a ready—made solution that includes everything they need, from insurance to maintenance. A dedicated fleet is especially popular when companies rent cars on a long-term basis. This gives businesses all the advantages of carsharing — savings and guaranteed access to transport in the right amount," said Artem Kuzmichev, Director of Delimobil's Corporate sales department.

Earlier, on September 2, Delimobil analysts said that the popularity of the truck segment in carsharing increased by 80% over the year. The growing demand for freight transport rentals in the B2B segment is related to the general trend towards optimizing business costs. Many entrepreneurs, especially those with a seasonal nature of business, prefer corporate carsharing instead of maintaining their own fleet.
