According to preliminary information, the details of the decree are still unknown, but officials may have to change the seals of the Ministry of Defense at more than 700,000 facilities in 40 countries and all 50 states.

It clarifies that this includes replacing almost everything: from the letterheads of six branches of the armed forces and dozens of other departments to embossed napkins in canteens, embroidered jackets for Senate-approved officials, as well as key chains and "trinkets" in the Pentagon store.

In addition, it will be necessary to rename materials on contracts, marketing, and business development that mention the Ministry of Defense. The ex-employee of the department noted that the implementation of such a measure would not only cost millions of dollars, but would also have "absolutely no impact on the calculations of China or Russia."

According to the newspaper, the decree of US President Donald Trump also allows Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to call himself "Minister of War" in all official communications and recommend measures aimed at consolidating the rebranding throughout the ministry.
