An outburst of the penultimate power class M occurred on the Sun. This was reported on September 4 on the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"The latest outbreak occurred today — level M1.0 (strong)," the publication says.

Also, the Telegram channel of the IKI RAS reported that an unusual plasma emission in the form of a direct beam was recorded in the northern hemisphere of the Sun. According to scientists, they usually occur in the form of a magnetic loop. Presumably, the unusual shape of the plasma is associated with a rapid restructuring of the magnetic field after the flare.

Earlier, on August 30, the IKI RAS reported on the release of a plasma cloud by the Sun towards the Earth. It is specified that the cloud was also thrown towards Mercury and Venus. In addition, the laboratory added that synchronously with the release of the plasma cloud, the strongest flare of the M2.76 level was recorded since August 26.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
