Germany called the military parade in Beijing a warning to the United States
The demonstration of the latest types of weapons during the military parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II in Beijing may serve as a warning to the United States and Taiwan. This was reported on September 3 by the German newspaper Die Welt.
"Although the event was officially dedicated to the anniversary of 1945, the demonstration of hypersonic weapons, drones and stealth aircraft serves as a warning to Taipei and Washington," the publication says.
It is separately noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping gave such a signal in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the parade.
A military parade on Tiananmen Square in Beijing took place earlier in the day. New types of Chinese military equipment were presented at the event. So, there was a column of underwater equipment in the construction, heavy torpedoes and underwater mines capable of independently hitting up to four targets were demonstrated in it.
The participants of the ceremony were also shown three types of unmanned vehicles: infantry, marine and air. The column of aerial vehicles included deck-mounted unmanned helicopters, attack drones and unmanned aircraft. Such developments were created for conducting air operations and are capable of delivering invisible strikes against the enemy.
