Scientists have announced the best conditions for auroras in three months.

In the coming hours, uniquely favorable conditions for observing the Aurora borealis will form in the European part of Russia. This was announced on September 2 in the Telegram channel of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"We record a high probability of the appearance of the aurora borealis from 22:00 to 2:00-3:00 Moscow time. The rapid change in the sign of the interplanetary magnetic field and the high speed of the solar wind create a powerful polar oval," the experts noted.

Scientists predict that this time the aurora will be visible over a wider area, including the central and western regions of the country.

"Today's conditions for monitoring are the best in the last three months," the experts stressed.

The heat in Central Russia will return only at the end of August and will remain at the beginning of September, meteorologists believe.

Earlier, on August 9, it was possible to see the Aurora borealis in the eastern regions of Russia, as well as in the European part of the country. Residents observed the natural phenomenon for several nights in a row.
