Elena Zakharova, who was on the Volgograd –Moscow train, died on August 31 after two weeks of coma. This was reported by the Telegram channel 112.

"Elena Zakharova lost consciousness on the train on her way home. Passengers immediately called an ambulance, but the paramedics who arrived could not determine that Elena had a stroke," the publication says.

It is known that doctors initially did not recognize the woman's stroke and mistook her condition for sleep. Doctors at the Moscow clinic tried to save the patient, but she never regained consciousness, and it was not possible to save the woman's life.

On August 8, a doctor named socially significant diseases as the cause of 80% of deaths in Russia. The list of such diseases includes HIV, tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, mental disorders and oncological diseases. These diseases, according to Gorenkov, have the greatest impact on the life of society. He noted that blood pressure is at the top of the list of risk factors, as it leads to the development of heart attack and stroke.
