The Israeli army attacked a Houthi military facility in the Sanaa region.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported a targeted attack on a Houthi military facility in the Yemeni Sanaa region. The corresponding statement was published on August 28 in the Telegram channel.
"Some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces launched an accurate strike against a military target of the Houthi terrorist regime in the Sanaa region of Yemen," the IDF press service said.
In addition, the N12 TV channel, citing a source, stressed that the strikes were aimed at high-ranking Houthi political figures.
On the same day, Israel attacked military installations of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon. It was emphasized that the presence of such "terrorist facilities" in the area is a violation of the ceasefire agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
On August 27, the IDF intercepted a missile launched from Yemen after sirens went off in some parts of the country. On August 24, the Israeli army repeatedly launched air strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa. As noted by eyewitnesses, there were about seven explosions near the city.
