In Samara region, 10 trains are delayed due to falling UAV debris

In the Samara region, as a result of falling debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), 10 trains are delayed near the Ridge station. This was announced on August 28 by the press service of the Kuibyshev Railway.

"As a result of the crash of the UAV in the area of the Ridge station (Ridge – Lipyagi section, Samara region), the work of the contact network was temporarily disrupted," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that as a result of the incident, four suburban and six passenger trains were delayed, and three more suburban trains were canceled. The delay time is 2 hours and 14 minutes.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had attacked the region with drones. He noted that due to the attack, temporary restrictions were imposed on the operation of Samara airport, as well as on the operation of the mobile Internet.
