In the UK, the rating of the Labour Party has dropped to its lowest level since the beginning of the party's rule last year. This is stated on August 27 in a study conducted by YouGov for the Sky News channel.

As it turned out, no more than 20% of voters would be ready to vote for the party of Prime Minister Keir Starmer today. This is the lowest figure since the last elections last year.

17% of respondents are ready to vote for the Conservatives, and 16% of respondents are ready to vote for the Liberal Democratic Party. The leader of the poll by a wide margin is the right—wing populist Reform UK, which is gaining popularity - 28% of voters are ready to support it.

The study, conducted from August 25 to 26, involved 2,439 Britons over the age of 18.

Prior to that, on March 5, YouGov provided survey data, according to which only 31% of UK residents positively assessed the work of Prime Minister Starmer. At the same time, the share of those who have a negative attitude towards the Labor leader fell from 66% to 59%. It was noted that at that time it was the highest indicator of support for the British prime minister since September 2024.
