Air defense systems destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Orel region. This was announced on August 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"At about 9:10 a.m. Moscow time, one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type was destroyed over the territory of the Orel region by air defense systems on duty," the Telegram channel said.

On the night of August 26, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 43 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia. It was noted that five Ukrainian UAVs were eliminated over the Volgograd region, two drones over the Belgorod and Kursk regions, four over the Bryansk region, three over the Orel and Pskov regions.
