The wreckage of a drone, presumably of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), was discovered in the south-east of Estonia. This was announced on August 26 by the head of the Estonian Security Police (KaPo) Margot Palloson during a joint press conference with Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.

The wreckage of a drone strike in the municipality of Elva, Tartu County, was discovered on Monday afternoon, August 25, by a local farmer. An explosion crater was also found at the detonation site.

"According to preliminary data, we have reason to believe that it could be a Ukrainian drone aimed at targets in Russia," Palloson was quoted as saying by the Estonian ERR television and radio company.

He stressed that it was a military drone with an explosive device attached to it. According to him, in the event of a fall on an apartment building, the drone could cause serious damage.

It is specified that the moment of the drone's invasion from Estonian airspace is being investigated. It is emphasized that there are no signs of the drone belonging to Russia.

Earlier, on March 26, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny, reported on the invasion of Ukrainian drones in Romania. According to him, this happened due to the actions of electronic warfare (EW).
