One person was killed and three others were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region. This was announced on August 26 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

In Novaya Zburyivka, a civilian was killed due to a shell explosion. Two residents of Alyoshka and one resident of Kakhovka were injured. All the injured were hospitalized.

In addition, as a result of shelling by Ukrainian militants in the village of Bekhter of the Holopristan region, a gas station and a passenger car caught fire due to a drone hit.

"The enemy also fired at Velikaya Lepetikha, Gornostayevka, Zavodovka, Cairo, Knyaz-Grigoryevka, Korsunka, Malaya Lepetikha, Novaya Kakhovka, Novaya Mayachka, Peschanovka, Proletarka and Sagi," the Balance said in a Telegram channel message.
