Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that at the end of August in Moscow, the thermometer will rise to +27 degrees.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, August 25, the expert noted that it will be cool and rainy in the capital region until Friday due to the cyclone: low daytime temperatures will remain both in the morning and in the evening. However, warming is expected by the end of the week.

According to him, on August 30 and 31, as well as on September 1, the temperature may rise to +25...+27 degrees. The specialist expressed the hope that the weather forecasts would not change.

Earlier in the day, Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, told RT that a warm front would arrive in Moscow by the end of this week. According to him, rain is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday at +15...+18 degrees, on Thursday — up to +20 degrees, and from Friday to Sunday the temperature will stay within +17...+22 degrees, notes 360.ru .

Also on August 25, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather center, warned that Tuesday, August 26, would be the coldest day in the capital this week. According to him, cloudy weather will remain in the city on this day, as well as on Wednesday, August 27. At the same time, short-term rains will take place in the capital, writes Moscow 24.

At the same time, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, told the Moscow City News agency that the temperature in Moscow would be three to four degrees below normal this week, but a short-term warming was forecast on August 30-31. On August 30, it is expected to reach +27 degrees during the day and +10...+15 degrees at night, and on August 31, the thermometer will rise to almost +30 degrees, with a decrease to +17 degrees at night.

On August 24, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, said that there would be no more velvet season in Moscow this year. The expert explained that cold nights are to blame for everything: in Moscow, the temperature drops below +10 degrees, which is why water bodies cool down quickly.

On August 23, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that in the last days of August, the echoes of Hurricane Erin, which had previously struck the United States, could reach Europe and cause warming in the center of Russia.
