Forecasters predicted clouds and rain in Moscow on August 24

Partly cloudy, with some light rain — this is the weather that awaits residents of the capital region on Sunday, August 24. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +18 to +20 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +8.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +16 to +21 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to +5.

A westerly wind is expected with a transition to a southwesterly wind with a speed of 4-9 m/s.

The atmospheric pressure will be 740 mmHg.

The heat in Central Russia will return only at the end of August and will remain at the beginning of September, meteorologists believe.

Earlier, on August 23, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that it was premature to talk about the beginning of a climatic autumn in Moscow, which had come ahead of schedule, despite the decrease in temperature in the capital.

Prior to that, on August 21, Mikhail Leus noted that August 2025 was among the ten rainiest in Moscow since the beginning of the 21st century before the end of the month, while rains are still expected in the remaining decade.
