US President Donald Trump has once again appeared in public with a bruise on his right arm, which he tried to hide with makeup. The Daily Beast portal drew attention to this on August 22.

"On Friday, when President Trump left the White House, his hand was covered with a thick layer of makeup amid ongoing questions about the president's health," the publication says.

It is noted that after taking office, the owner of the White House was repeatedly forced to hide bruises on his right arm. During Trump's visit to the exhibition at the House of the People, the attempt to hide traces using cosmetics became especially noticeable.

At the same time, White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said that this was due to the need to shake hands with a large number of people.

"President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets with more Americans and shakes their hands every day than any other president in history," she assured.

Earlier, on July 17, White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt announced that doctors had diagnosed Trump with chronic venous insufficiency. According to the results of the examination, edema is a "benign and common condition" for people over 70 years old, and bruises are the result of frequent handshakes and taking aspirin by Trump.

On July 19, journalist Noel Williams suggested that Trump refuse to shake hands because of this problem. According to him, the politician's entourage should be ready for an alternative type of greeting, such as a nod, a short clap or a thumbs-up.
