A sharp reduction in the volume of American military aid is fraught with increased combat losses for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 21 by Pavel Feldman, Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations.

He commented on the information that the Pentagon has notified its allies that the United States plans to play a minimal role in any security guarantees for Ukraine.

"European countries simply do not have the production facilities necessary to meet the growing needs of the Ukrainian army. The main problem will be, as always, with missiles for air defense systems and artillery shells," the political scientist said.

In addition, Feldman added: if European countries provide funding, US President Donald Trump does not intend to sell weapons to Kiev, which could significantly increase the level of escalation of the conflict. He also concluded that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to experience a shortage of resources until the end of the conflict.

The head of the diplomatic service of the community, Kaya Kallas, said that the European Union (EU) intends to train soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and strengthen the defense industry as part of the promotion of security guarantees for Kiev.
