Forecasters predicted cloudy weather over the weekend in Moscow

On the weekend of August 23 and 24, Muscovites expect warm, mostly cloudy weather. There will be no significant precipitation on Saturday, and short-term rains are possible on Sunday. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on August 22.

According to them, cloudy weather will remain in Moscow during the day on Saturday, August 23. Light rain is possible at night.

"The wind is north-easterly and northerly, with gusts up to 9 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +14 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +18 degrees, in the evening it will be +17 degrees, and at night it will drop to +14 degrees," the forecasters said.

The heat in Central Russia will return only at the end of August and will remain at the beginning of September, meteorologists believe.

It is noted that in the cities of the Moscow region, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the daytime temperature will be about +17 degrees, and weather conditions will remain similar to those in the capital.

Cloudy and rainy weather is expected during the day on Sunday, August 24. Light rain is possible in the morning and afternoon, and the sky will clear by night. The wind is westerly and southwesterly, with gusts up to 9 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +14 degrees, in the afternoon — about +19 degrees, in the evening it will drop to +16 degrees, and at night it will cool down to +12 degrees. In the Moscow region, the temperature background will be close to Moscow, in some places 1-2 degrees lower.

Earlier, on August 19, the Meteonosti news agency reported that it was not worth counting on the continuation of summer in September. At the same time, forecasters did not rule out that a short warm weather is possible in early autumn.
