During the Alaska summit, which will be held on August 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump will have to agree on what the world will look like in the future. This was stated on August 13 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with PragerU.

"The two big bosses, the Russians and the Americans, should come to a direct agreement and make a plan for what the world will look like in the future. It's not just about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. We are talking about armament, disarmament, energy, and many other issues," Orban said.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, if the leaders of Russia and the United States can agree, including on the issue of the Ukrainian conflict, then peace will come.

On August 14, Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced that the Russian delegation would include Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Special Presidential Envoy for cooperation with Foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev and Ushakov.

During a meeting before the Alaska summit, Putin pointed to the energetic and sincere efforts of the White House administration to end hostilities in Ukraine. According to him, the American side is taking steps to create long-term peace conditions not only between the conflicting countries, but also in Europe and the world as a whole.
