US President Donald Trump said during a press conference on August 11 that he was concerned about the statements of his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky regarding territorial issues.

"I was a little worried about the fact that Zelensky was saying, 'Well, I need to get constitutional approval.' That is, he has approval to start a <conflict> and kill everyone, but not yet approval to exchange territories," Trump said.

In addition, Trump also noted that he was not going to invite Zelensky to a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

Prior to that, on August 8, Trump expressed confidence in the possibility of signing a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine in the coming months. Commenting on this issue, Trump stated the need for territorial concessions from both sides.
