The Crew Dragon manned spacecraft carrying Kirill Peskov, an astronaut of the state corporation Roscosmos, undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) in California. This was announced on August 9 by Roscosmos in its Telegram channel.
"Today, the Crew Dragon manned spacecraft with the crew of the Crew-10 mission left the International Space Station," the corporation said in a statement.
It is noted that in addition to Peskov, the crew of Crew Dragon includes NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nicole Ayers, as well as JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi.
According to Roscosmos, upon their return to Earth, they will be met by cosmonaut Sergei Prokopyev and a team of doctors from the Cosmonaut Training Center.
Earlier, on August 8, it was reported that the crew of the Crew-10 mission planned to return to Earth. Kirill Peskov, a Russian, will arrive on the planet as part of the team. The cosmonaut spent almost six months in orbit, and this was his first flight in his career. The crew intends to undock from the ISS and head to Earth on the Dragon spacecraft.
