A citizen of Ukraine tried to fly away from mobilization to Moldova by paraglider
A Ukrainian citizen from the Khmelnitsky region tried to avoid mobilization and fly to Moldova on a paraglider purchased on the Internet. This was reported on August 8 by the Ukrainian Border Guard service.
"A 48-year-old resident of the Khmelnytskyi region decided to cross the border on a paraglider purchased online for €500. For the "take—off" I chose a field near the state border and planned to fly without documents and any navigation — "by eye," the message on the Telegram channel of the department says.
It is noted that the man was detained by border guards of Mogilev-Podolsk before the start of the flight. He was brought to administrative responsibility.
On May 17, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that a man, in an attempt to avoid mobilization, tried to leave the country for Slovakia and cross the border on a monowheel. It was noted that the evader was brought to justice.
