Two underage girls were injured as a result of a jet ski hitting a board in Primorsky Krai. This was announced on August 6 by the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office in its Telegram channel.
"On August 5, at about 18.30 (August 6, 01:30 Moscow time) in the waters of the Sea of Japan in the territory of the Khasansky district of Primorsky Krai, a man, presumably born in 1995, hit a board on a jet ski, on which there were two underage girls," the report said.
It is noted that the victims were hospitalized, they received the necessary medical care.
According to the agency, a criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1.2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of water transport, resulting in serious harm to health").
Earlier, on June 24, a man was injured in a jet ski explosion in Volchiy Bay on Angara. The man was hospitalized. The preliminary cause of the explosion is called by the police the ignition of the air-fuel mixture due to a malfunction of the fuel supply system.
