The victim of the terrorist attack in Crocus told about her rescue

During the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow on March 22, 2024, some of the audience were able to hide from the attack on the ground floor of the building. Lyudmila, who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack, told Izvestia about this on August 4.

According to her, there was practically no hope of salvation.

"I didn't believe in salvation, only my husband believed. <...> It's just lucky that we had a guard with a walkie-talkie with us. Everything was already on fire when we were downstairs, and the smoke was already coming. <...> The door was opened for us, we ran through thick smoke into the light bulbs, we had to overcome the first floor and go out through the hall," the woman shared.

Lyudmila and her husband were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning, and they spent three weeks in the hospital.

"It's a miracle that we got poisoned, that we just didn't give up," the victim concluded.

Meanwhile, the Moscow City Court began a hearing on the merits of the 19 perpetrators and accomplices of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. Before the meeting, the territory was checked by dog handlers with dogs. The building is surrounded by reinforced police, Rosgvardiya, special forces and riot police.

More than 50 victims and their representatives attended the trial.

At least 27 defendants are involved in the case of the terrorist attack on March 22, 2024.

On July 8, it was reported that the materials on the terrorist attack case had been submitted to the court. In June, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Svetlana Petrenko, announced that the investigation of the case had been completed. According to the investigation, the crime was planned and committed in the interests of the current leadership of Ukraine in order to destabilize the political situation.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Then terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. As a result of the terrorist attack, 149 people were killed, 609 were injured and injured in various degrees of severity.
