The threat to the US dollar is not posed by the BRICS countries, but by supporters of using sanctions as a weapon, such as [former American President] Joe Biden. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, by Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), on the social network X (former. Twitter).

"The biggest threat to the US dollar is not BRICS, but those like Biden, who are turning it into a weapon through endless and ineffective sanctions," Dmitriev said.

Earlier, on July 23, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a significant part of the funds received by Ukraine for the purchase of weapons from the United States and European countries had been stolen.

The day before, US President Donald Trump expressed doubt about Kiev's use of all the funds transferred by Washington to buy weapons. He stressed that the former American leader had given Ukraine $350 billion in money or military equipment.
