US President Donald Trump does not plan to take part in the upcoming G20 summit in South Africa, where he intends to send any of his representatives due to personal problems with the country. He stated this on July 29.

"No, I think I'll probably send someone else there, because I have a lot of problems with South Africa," he told reporters aboard his presidential liner.

According to Trump, he would like to visit this state, but will not do so because a large number of people are allegedly dying because of the current government in South Africa.

South African Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources Gwede Mantashe said on July 29 that if the United States imposes duties of 30% on resource exports against his country, new and more profitable partners will need to be found. He noted that South Africa should not be intimidated because of its own minerals.
