At the same time, von der Leyen herself became an "object of ridicule" because of her own actions.

"In a week, EC President Ursula von der Leyen literally washed the floor of two important players in world politics," the Hungarian minister said in the Harcosok Órája podcast on YouTube.

He noted that during a visit to China, the head of the European Commission was greeted like an ordinary tourist, sending a minibus for her, although her status was assigned to an executive car "with flashing lights." And US President Donald Trump, during negotiations with von der Leyen, "just wiped her floor," Szijjarto believes.

"In fact, today the face of the European Union, the president of the European Commission, is an object of humiliation and ridicule in world politics," the Hungarian Foreign Minister said.
