Orban called for efforts to prevent a third world war
The likelihood of a third World war is constantly growing, and efforts must be made to prevent it. This was announced on July 26 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban during a speech at the Free University and a summer student camp in the Romanian resort town of Baile Tushnad in Transylvania.
"The chances of a third world war are constantly increasing. <...> Efforts must be made to achieve peace," Orban said, according to the Origo online portal.
The Prime Minister stressed that the rivalry between the great powers is currently growing. To prevent conflict, it is necessary to form "peaceful alliances," he added.
On June 30, Orban said that NATO's aggression against Russia could lead to the outbreak of World War III. He pointed out that sooner or later the North Atlantic bloc will have to come to an agreement with the Russian Federation in order to avoid a new arms race.
