Thanks to the allowances, residents of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Kamchatka Krai and Magadan Region receive the highest pensions in Russia. This was announced on July 26 by RANEPA expert Tatiana Podolskaya.

According to her, due to the presence of regional coefficients, the gap in pension provision between the regions of the country can be significant.

"The highest pensions due to allowances for the regions of the Far North in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug are 38,658.45 rubles, in the Kamchatka Territory – 34,460.74 rubles, and in the Magadan Region – 34,253.16 rubles," Podolskaya said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, on July 20, Alexey Govyrin, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the United Russia party, announced the indexation of pensions of Russian military pensioners by 7.6% from October 1, 2025. According to him, pension payments of Rosgvardiya employees, representatives of internal affairs bodies, employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service and employees of Customs and Courier services will be indexed in the same amount.
