State Duma deputy Govyrkin spoke about payments to families by September 1
Some families with children in four regions of Russia can receive a one-time payment by September 1, as well as cash out the remaining maternity capital if it does not exceed 10 thousand rubles. Alexey Govyrkin, a deputy of the State Duma from the United Russia faction, told about this on July 26.
"In 2025, some families with children will indeed be able to receive a lump sum payment by the beginning of the school year, but this measure applies only to certain cases. We are not talking about a mass payment, as it was in the pandemic year 2021, but about targeted mechanisms," he said in an interview with the RIA Novosti news agency.
Govyrkin also noted that the payments will apply only to large and low-income families. In Moscow, the payment amount will be 13,257 rubles, in St. Petersburg - 10 thousand rubles, in the Moscow region — from 3 thousand rubles to 7 thousand rubles, and in the Vladimir region — 5 thousand rubles.
It clarifies that the funds should be used to buy necessary things and stationery for children to go to school.
Govyrkin said that in order to receive payments to the family, you need to contact the MFC or the branch of the Social Fund.
"A standard set of documents is required: a passport, a certificate from school, confirmation of the status of a large or low-income family. The application is considered within 10 working days, and if the decision is positive, the funds will be transferred within 5 days.", —
Earlier, on July 25, the State Duma proposed an annual payment to parents of schoolchildren before September 1. One of the parents of children aged 6 to 18, as well as people with disabilities and persons with disabilities aged 18 to 23, who live in the Russian Federation, can receive the payment.
