Families with children in Russia can count on a number of payments and benefits, including a single allowance, a one-time allowance for the birth of a child, as well as maternity capital. In 2025, the maternity capital was indexed by 9.5% — now 690.3 thousand rubles are paid for the first-born. For the second child, the family can receive 222 thousand rubles.

Regional support measures for families with children

Belgorod region
The governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that residents with many children will be paid 300 thousand rubles each for the third and subsequent child. According to him, the measure will apply to parents under the age of 35 if their children were born after January 1, 2025.
