Police cordoned off the area near the court before the hearing on the terrorist attack in Crocus

Police have cordoned off the area next to the 2nd Western District Military Court, where a preliminary hearing will be held in the case of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall. This was reported on July 21 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

Law enforcement officers are on duty near the building. The territory is allowed according to preliminary lists.

The court session will be held behind closed doors.

At least 27 defendants are involved in the case of the terrorist attack on March 22, 2024.

On July 8, it was reported that the case materials had been submitted to the court. In March, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, announced the completion of investigative actions.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, they started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. As a result of the attack, 149 people were killed and 609 injured.
