Roof Live summer concert festival started in Rostov-on-Don and Samara

The Roof Live Summer Concert Festival is taking place in Rostov-on-Don and Samara. The main highlight of the event is the location of the stage — solo artists and musical groups perform on the roof, their songs sound right under the clouds. The participants and organizers of the concerts on July 21 told about the festival.

Singer MakSim became the so-called "pioneer" of the event in both cities, with hundreds of fans singing along to her.

The festival in Samara was opened by the band "25/17". The band members Andrey Bledny and Anton Zavyalov (Ant) shared that they always try to balance the program, and called the last concert 100% realized. One of the group's fans called their music patriotic and with the right lyrics, and the performers' voices wonderful.

"I always want to imagine myself somewhere at a height, closer to the clouds. That's probably why they come up with such songs. And now everything has coincided," Sergey Sirotkin, the founder of the Sirotkin group, who also performed at the festival, shared with Izvestia.

The REN TV channel has become a partner of Roof Live. Armen Gevorgyan, producer of the festival, stressed that 10 years ago, stories about summer and a solo concert could be seen in Karelia or Sochi, but not in the regions.

"Not in Rostov, not in Samara, where we are now. These are just the two cities that we have chosen now. We plan to make six cities next year. And with this, we will become the biggest festival in Russia," he added.

The band "Three Days of Rain", singer Eva Polna, singer Nike Borzov, the bands "My Michelle" and The Hatters, as well as Dora, Linda, Dolphin and Sharpener are now waiting for their turn to perform under the clouds.

Earlier, on July 19, the 10th anniversary VK Fest started in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. The program of the event was divided into two days. Performers such as Polina Gagarina, Sergey Lazarev, IOWA, "Three Days of Rain" and others performed on the stage of the festival. In addition, guests of the event could visit the VK Lecture Hall, where speakers held discussions.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, speaking at VK Fest, noted the "special world" created by the organizers.
