It was for her that the ballet was created to the music of Adolphe Adam, one of the most fashionable composers of Paris at that time. The libretto is based on an old legend written by the German poet Heinrich Heine about the Villis, girls who died before their wedding and then took revenge on travelers by dancing them to death.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Potsdam Conference, the last official meeting of the leaders of the three largest powers of the anti-Hitler coalition. The exhibition includes original documents and personal belongings of representatives of the Soviet delegation. Among them is the portfolio of Andrei Gromyko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to the USA. Of particular interest is a unique rarity — a memorandum to Air Marshal Fyodor Falaleev from the Commander of the US Air Force, General Henry Harley Arnold, on the results of the strategic bombing of Japan by the American Air Force.

A new exhibition at the Museum of Oriental Art is dedicated to the fine and decorative arts of Kyrgyzstan of the 20th century. The beauty of the country's nature and the unique culture of the Kyrgyz people will be reflected in the project. The audience will see paintings by representatives of national fine arts of different generations: Semyon Chuikov, Gapar Aitiev, Dzhambul Dzhumabayev, Dogdurbek Nurgaziev, easel sculpture and ceramic compositions by Shaarbek Amankulov. Decorative and applied art objects of the late 19th-20th centuries echo the paintings. Archaic patterns are embroidered by Kyrgyz craftsmen on hanging bags, curtains on niches in the yurt, and mittens for dishes.

Closing ceremony of the Donbass Express School Festival, 6+

The Donbass Express is a charity project for young musicians from 12 to 25 years old, which is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The festival is led by violinist Peter Lundstrom and pianist Alexander Romanovsky. During the 12 days of the festival, 95 young musicians from all over the country, including from the frontline territories, demonstrated their skills and participated in a rich educational program. The finale will be a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The orchestra and choir of the participants of the Donbass Express are on stage.

The Polytechnic Museum will take part in the VK Fest in Luzhniki with the scientific and educational project "The Business of Technology". Participants will get acquainted with the telescopic mechanism and will be able to create their own working model at the master class "Telescopic bucket or dragon's mouth?". To consider the device of a microcircuit and different types of lamps, a clockwork mechanism will be offered in the lesson "Parts, mechanisms and devices under a microscope". And at the Vladimir Shukhov Mesh Frames workshop in an open workshop, participants will learn how to create architectural objects based on mesh technology.
