The threat of a tsunami in Kamchatka, announced after a series of earthquakes, has passed. This was reported on Sunday, July 20, in the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations with reference to the Tsunami Center.

"Information from the tsunami center: the tsunami threat has passed," the ministry said.

Earlier, tremors were reported in Japan and Pakistan.

On the same day, three earthquakes of different magnitudes were reported in the region. The largest of the seismic events turned out to be magnitude 7.6.
