Georgian citizens are being deported from Poland for participating in criminal activities, Interior Minister Tomasz Semoniak said on July 18.

"We have problems with the criminality of Georgian citizens. Hundreds of them were expelled from Poland in connection with criminal activities," he said at the end of the migration summit in Germany.

On July 7, TVP Info TV channel announced the introduction of border controls by Warsaw with Germany and Lithuania. The relevant decision, as clarified, was due to the ongoing fight against illegal migration in Poland.
