Ukraine will not withdraw from the negotiation process with Russia, because it is politically unprofitable for it. Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, expressed this opinion on Friday, July 18.
At the same time, the politician noted in a conversation with Lenta.Ru That Kiev verbally declares in every possible way that it stands for negotiations, but in fact it is delaying the next round of negotiations in every possible way.
He clarified that Russia would like to see certain actions from Ukraine, because Moscow continues to show willingness to negotiate, and the Ukrainian side is delaying this process.
Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov recalled on July 17 that Russia and Ukraine will have to start discussing draft settlement memoranda at the third round of negotiations, Moscow 24 writes.
