As a result of an attack on a passenger bus in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, three people were killed and seven others were injured. Geo TV reported this on July 16, citing representatives of the provincial government and the police.

"At least three people were killed and seven injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a passenger bus en route from Karachi to Quetta near a checkpoint in Qalat," the publication said.

It is specified that this incident was the second in a week. This time, the attackers first opened fire and then threw hand grenades at the bus.

A representative of the Balochistan government, Shahid Rind, quoted by the TV channel, said that security forces, district authorities and rescuers immediately arrived at the scene of the attack.

In addition, as noted, all the victims were hospitalized in a hospital in the city of Kalat, while the exact number of people on the bus who were attacked remains unknown. The publication emphasizes that a state of emergency has been declared in the area.

On July 15, La Libre newspaper reported at least 27 dead as a result of a militant attack on the Jebu Rahoss community, which is located in central Nigeria. The publication stated that most of the victims were women, and nomadic shepherds are suspected of carrying out this attack.
