Eyewitnesses reported shooting at residential buildings in Makhachkala

The shooting occurred in the area of residential buildings in Makhachkala. Footage from the scene of the incident on July 16 is published by Izvestia.

The incident occurred on July 15th. According to eyewitnesses, two unidentified men in green masks began shooting at mixed martial arts fighter Timur Khaziev, Izvestia correspondent Daniyal Isaev reports.

"About ten shots were fired. The Interception plan has now been announced in the city. The identity of the attackers is being established," the correspondent said.

At least 58 shots were recorded in total.

On July 14, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia reported that in the Leningrad region, a man in a state of alcoholic intoxication opened fire with an airsoft gun on children. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism").
