In the Leningrad region, a man intoxicated opened fire with an airsoft gun on children. This was announced on Monday, July 14, by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"It is reported on social media that in the village of Pochinok, Leningrad region, a man in a state of intoxication opened fire with an airsoft gun at children from an apartment window," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism").

On June 30, in Lyubertsy, near Moscow, Rosgvardiya officers detained a man who had started shooting at a playground. It was clarified that the detainee also drank alcoholic beverages on the playground. As a result of his actions, no one was injured.
